Ingredients
8 sprays 1-kcal cooking spray
150g turkey breast mince
2 clove garlic, crushed
3 dashes chilli flakes
1 tsp chilli powder
100ml passata
2 tbsp tomato puree
70g (dry) spaghetti
70g white mushroom, roughly chopped
70g broccoli florets
Method
- Fill a large saucepan with boiling water 2/3 the way up over a medium-high heat. Add the spaghetti. Stir and taste occasionally until cooked. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a dry saucepan over medium-high heat, add half the crushed garlic. Once it starts to brown, add the broccoli and mushrooms. Stir to mix. The mushrooms will release a little water. Add a little more then cover until softened to your liking then drain.
- In a large frying pan on high heat, spray in the oil and allow to heat up before adding the turkey mince and cooking at a high temperature for 5 minutes.
- While stirring, add the remaining garlic, tomato puree, chilli powder, passata and chilli flakes. After bringing to the boil, cover and allow to simmer on a low heat for 10 minutes.
- Serve with the spaghetti.
